About the role
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly web applications that deliver seamless performance across devices and browsers. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to translate complex requirements into elegant and efficient interfaces that delight users.
As a Frontend Developer, your core responsibilities will include developing reusable and modular UI components, ensuring application responsiveness, and optimizing frontend performance for speed and scalability. You will actively participate in architectural discussions, contribute to product roadmaps, and ensure that our applications follow best practices in terms of coding standards, testing, and accessibility compliance. Your role will also involve staying up to date with the latest trends in frontend technologies, evaluating new tools and frameworks, and introducing innovative solutions that improve development efficiency and user experience.
You will be working in an agile development environment where collaboration and communication are key. This position requires strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc.). A deep understanding of state management (Redux, Context API, or similar), responsive design, and integration with RESTful APIs or GraphQL is highly desirable. Experience with TypeScript, testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library), and CI/CD pipelines will be considered a strong plus.
Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone who can work effectively as part of a cross-functional team, contribute ideas proactively, and mentor junior engineers when necessary. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and adapting quickly to shifting business needs. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Build and maintain reusable UI components and libraries for future use.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate wireframes and requirements into functional features.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain coding standards.
- Write unit tests and contribute to automated testing practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple environments.
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or Context API).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and GraphQL.
- Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with modern build tools and package managers (Webpack, Babel, Vite, npm, Yarn).
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
