About the role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our infrastructure team. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions that power our platform. You will work closely with DevOps engineers, backend developers, and security teams to ensure our applications are performant, secure, and cost-efficient.
As a Cloud Engineer, you will help shape the architecture of our systems by leveraging cloud-native technologies, automation, and best practices. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
Automate deployment pipelines and ensure smooth CI/CD processes.
Monitor system health, availability, and performance using cloud-native and third-party tools.
Implement security best practices across cloud environments, including IAM, VPCs, firewalls, and encryption.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with development teams to design cloud-native applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services, networking, and storage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Familiarity with networking concepts (VPC, VPN, load balancing).
Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
Good knowledge of security practices in cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good to Have
Knowledge of multi-cloud or hybrid cloud deployments.
Familiarity with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go).
Exposure to compliance standards (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA).
