About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen the security posture of our interview platform. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security threats and vulnerabilities. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to safeguard sensitive data, ensure compliance, and implement proactive defenses against evolving cyber risks.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and incidents in real time.
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify risks.
Investigate security breaches and develop incident response plans.
Collaborate with DevOps to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Maintain and update intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
Ensure compliance with data security regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, etc.).
Provide guidance to development teams on secure coding practices.
Research and stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, exploits, and trends.
Conduct regular security training and awareness programs for employees.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and practices.
Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Knowledge of network protocols, encryption, authentication, and PKI.
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, OpenVAS, Burp Suite).
Experience securing cloud environments (AWS IAM, Azure Security Center, GCP Security Command Center).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Good to Have
Industry certifications (CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, OSCP).
Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and red/blue team exercises.
