About the role
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Python & Django. Work with SQL & relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) for data modeling and management. Build and document RESTful APIs to integrate with frontend applications and third-party services. Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling practices. Debug, test, and deploy backend features in a collaborative team environment. Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to deliver features on time. Learn and follow best practices in version control (Git), code reviews, and CI/CD workflows. Develop admin dashboards using Django Templates.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Python and Django framework. Good understanding of SQL & DBMS concepts (PostgreSQL/MySQL). Familiarity with REST API development. Good knowledge of Django migrations. Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (for API testing, creating dashboards & integration support). Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC/MVT architecture. Problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
