About the role
You'll work on real production systems — not toy projects — with dedicated mentorship from senior engineers and a direct path to a permanent Backend Engineer role after 6 months. Backend services and APIs used by Indian families managing their wealth. Features handling real user and financial data in production. Database work on real customer problems — PostgreSQL, Redis. Bug fixes, testing, and validation before production deployment. Code reviews and technical discussions with the founding engineering team. Must have: Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving ability. Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and server-side logic. Comfortable with Git and working in shared codebases. Willingness to learn fast and take ownership. Fresh graduate or final year student in CS / IT or related field. Good to have: Python or any backend programming language. SQL or relational database exposure. Personal or academic projects — web apps, APIs, anything you've shipped. Interest in fintech or product-driven engineering.
