About the role
The Software Engineer Intern will work full time on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area, collaborating closely with the engineering team to build and enhance Engagezy’s core CRM features. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing backend services, APIs, and integrations that support high-volume sales workflows. The intern will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and help debug and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability. This role also involves working with modern development tools, following best practices in version control and CI/CD, and partnering with product and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases. Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Practical skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, or similar). Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks. Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and clean, maintainable code practices. Comfort with Git or other version control systems, and exposure to collaborative development workflows. Ability to learn quickly, work in a team-oriented environment, and communicate technical concepts clearly. Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, or AI/ML tools is a plus but not required.
