About the role
Analyze telemetry and trace data, with support from experienced engineers, to understand software and hardware behavior on individual devices and at scale. Investigate system issues using debugging and performance-analysis tools. Identify optimization opportunities and contribute to the design and implementation of improvements. Develop, test, and maintain code that improves experiences across operating-system and application layers. Deliver reliable, high-quality solutions by following sound engineering practices and incorporating feedback from code and design reviews. Use data to evaluate solutions, validate improvements, and support engineering decisions. Collaborate with team members and partner teams to deliver improvements across the Windows ecosystem. Required/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience.
