About the role
Develop and integrate wireless features across AP, controller, and management layers. Write and maintain software in C/C++ and scripting languages (Python). Design and execute test plans, and develop automation for feature validation. Analyze logs, packet traces, and system behavior to debug issues. Reproduce issues and validate fixes across system components. Set up and use lab environments for testing wireless scenarios. Collaborate with platform, radio, QA, and cloud teams. Minimum Qualification: MS + 0-2 years or BS + 1-3 years of experience. Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and Wi-Fi (802.11 basics). Experience or strong interest in testing, automation, and system validation. Strong debugging and analytical skills. Preferred Qualification: Exposure to wireless controllers or cloud-managed networking systems. Experience with tools like Wireshark. Familiarity with WPA2/WPA3 security.
