About the role
As a Full Stack Engineering Intern, you will work across both the frontend and backend of the NITESTAYS platform. You will collaborate with engineers and product team members to design, develop, test, debug, and improve features throughout the product lifecycle. This is a hands-on role where you may work on everything from responsive user interfaces and APIs to databases, third-party integrations, authentication, performance optimization, and deployment workflows. Build modern and responsive web interfaces using React.js / Next.js. Develop scalable backend services using Node.js / Express.js. Design and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs. Work with databases and data models using technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Firebase. Implement frontend-to-backend data flows and business logic. Contribute to hotel search, availability, booking, and accommodation-related features. Work on authentication, user accounts, and secure application workflows. Integrate external services including APIs, payment systems, maps, and AI-powered services. Identify and resolve bugs across frontend and backend systems. Improve application performance, reliability, and user experience. Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code. Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices. Write and maintain technical documentation. Test new features and help ensure production-quality releases. Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development. Learn and contribute to modern deployment and cloud infrastructure. Work with the team to continuously improve existing features based on product and user feedback.
