About the role
As an Engineer Intern at Vela, you will work full-time on-site in Bengaluru, partnering closely with the product and engineering teams to build and improve features for the employability app. Day-to-day responsibilities may include implementing backend and frontend components, writing clean and testable code, and contributing to integrations that support scoring, analytics, and user experience. You will help debug issues, participate in code reviews, and collaborate on technical design discussions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability. The role offers exposure to the full product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and iteration based on user feedback. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
