About the role

Build and improve features across VFRA’s flagship products. Develop responsive and functional front-end interfaces using React. Build and integrate backend services and REST APIs. Work with SQL databases, schemas, queries and data models. Connect frontend components with backend APIs and databases. Debug and optimise existing product functionality. Implement authentication, authorisation and role-based access where required. Work with structured and unstructured data used by investigation platforms. Participate in code reviews, testing and technical discussions. Use Git/GitHub for version control, branches, pull requests and collaboration. Document features, APIs and important technical decisions. Assist with deployment, monitoring and resolving production issues. Experiment with AI-assisted development workflows to improve development speed without compromising code quality. Work closely with the founding team to convert real operational requirements into usable product features. We're looking for candidates who have built at least one functioning web application, worked with React and APIs, written backend code, worked with an SQL database, and used GitHub for projects.
