About the role

This remote Software Engineer internship role focuses on supporting the development of backend systems and tools that power DevoByte’s digital marketing solutions. Day-to-day tasks include writing and reviewing code, implementing features, debugging and resolving issues, and collaborating with senior engineers on software design and architecture. Interns will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate software components with marketing platforms, ensure performance and reliability, and contribute to technical documentation. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development. Candidates should possess skills in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Candidates should possess experience or interest in Back-End Web Development. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn new technologies. Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with distributed teams. Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar) is beneficial. Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
