About the role

Assist in developing and maintaining backend services using Python. Write clean, readable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices. Help build and integrate RESTful APIs for product features. Work with PostgreSQL to write queries and support database-related tasks. Learn and contribute to backend development using FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks. Minimum 6 months of relevant internship experience in backend development. Strong Python programming fundamentals and hands-on experience building backend applications. Understanding of REST APIs, SQL, databases, and basic backend architecture. Practical experience through internships, rather than only academic coursework. Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases, and problem-solving. Willingness to learn FastAPI or other Python backend frameworks and contribute to real-world product development. Ability to debug issues, write basic tests, collaborate with engineers, and take ownership of assigned tasks. Interest in AI/LLM technologies and building AI-powered backend applications is an advantage.
