About the role
Develop and maintain front-end and back-end features for web applications. Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services. Write clean, readable and well-documented code. Help build prototypes and MVPs quickly, based on feedback from the team and founders. Test features, identify bugs and fix them. Take part in code reviews, sprint planning and team discussions. Use Git for version control and follow team development practices. Enrolled in, or recently completed, a degree or diploma program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Working knowledge of JavaScript and at least one framework such as React. Familiarity with a back-end language such as Node.js or Python. Understanding of HTML, CSS, REST APIs and basic database concepts (SQL or NoSQL). Experience with Git and GitHub. Good problem-solving and communication skills.
